Neighborhood Villages works with community providers to pilot programs that reduce barriers to accessing affordable, high quality child care.
Neighborhood Villages seeks a Career Pathways Coordinator, who will be responsible for supporting the Career Pathways for Early Educators Program and will report to the Director of Workforce Development. Responsibilities include supporting recruitment and onboarding of participants; coordination of site placements as needed; and coordination of wraparound and technical support for students. The Career Pathways Program provides a seamless transition from enrollment in tuition-free early educator courses to placement with prospective employers in the field of early education and care. The Coordinator will support program goals related to increasing the number of licensed early educators in Boston and enabling teachers to pursue their professional development goals.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit participants to take early education courses in English, Spanish, and other languages
Onboard and orient participants to the program including expectations and technical support
Provide students with materials and support needed to successfully access and complete courses
Work with partner colleges to take participants through the program from start to finish
Other responsibilities related to the Career Pathways Program
High School required Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1-3 years of similar experience preferred.
Exceptional ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks and priorities
Strong analytic and data systems management skills including proficiency in GSuite & Microsoft Office
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills bi-lingual encouraged, specifically Spanish
Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment
