‍

How has MomUp helped you?

They've been beyond awesome! Not only have they connected me to a contract role that is a great match and a great next step for me, but they're also always considering my goals and wants as well! I have really enjoyed getting to know the ladies at MomUp!

‍

Tell us a bit about you!

I grew up on a farm in a rural community, my family sold a variety of products off the farm and through our greenhouse. I loved being involved in the community and connecting people to products they needed! I originally thought I wanted to go to law school, yet life had other plans for me in marketing! I enjoy helping companies connect with people who need their services!

‍

What career highlight are you most proud of?

Thinking outside the box during the Pandemic to create resources and opportunities that weren't sales-driven to connect with various audiences in a time of true need and uncertainty.

‍

First job you ever had?

Feeding calves and watering the greenhouse!

‍

What do you think companies should know about hiring consultants?

You're getting someone that is looking at the same need/issue in other companies and possibly industries, it allows for that person to come in with insight that you typically wouldn't get.

‍

What are you best job search tips?

Don't give up and don't settle! Wait until you know you have the right fit from all sides!

‍

What kept you going during this pandemic?

Helping businesses who were already under so pressure much find ways to connect with their communities! And a lot of yoga!

‍

Advice on balancing multiple contract roles?

Be organized and have a plan! I map out each day with time blocks and create a weekly plan each Sunday!

Favorite book, movie, or tv series?

Atomic Habits and Outer Banks!

‍

First thing you are going to do or have done as we navigate this new world?

Greece! I've always wanted to travel to Santorini!
