Account Executive - Animal Shelter Software (Remote)
Full-time | Remote (U.S. only)
$90k base + commission
Our client, a mission-driven SaaS company serving the pet and animal welfare space, is hiring a seasoned Account Executive with deep experience selling into animal shelters. If you know how shelters operate, understand their constraints, and have successfully sold any product into that ecosystem this is the role built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of shelter accounts across the U.S.
- Lead onboarding, training, renewals, and upsells with a consultative, relationship-first approach.
- Conduct demos, present solutions, and translate shelter pain points into clear value.
- Build multi-stakeholder relationships and navigate long, complex buying cycles.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline tracking, and CRM hygiene.
- Partner with product and support teams to advocate for customer needs and improve adoption.
What You Bring
- 5+ years selling directly into animal shelters.
(Any relevant product category qualifies: pet supplies, medical products, technology, services, etc.) - Strong understanding of shelter operations and the dynamics that drive decision-making.
- SaaS exposure or comfort selling a technical product.
- Proven track record of hitting revenue targets and expanding accounts.
- Excellent communication, follow-through, and account management discipline.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Compensation
- Base salary: $90,000 + Commission
