Experience Level:
- Entry to mid-level experience welcome – We value fit, potential, drive and attitude over extensive experience
- Corporate law exposure – We are looking for some level of experience as a corporate paralegal but we willing to train on the specifics of our practice
- Administrative or operations assistant background valued
- Any experience with legal technology, process improvement, or team support is a plus
What You'll Do
This is a hybrid role combining legal operations, executive support, and process improvement. You'll work closely with our attorneys on corporate matters while also serving as an operational backbone for the firm.
Paralegal Operations
- Entity Formation: Support entity formation for LLCs and corporations,
- Capt able Management: Assist with cap table management and equity plans using Carta
- TransactionSupport: Coordinatefundraising, acquisition and other transaction documents and DocuSign processes
- Filings: Handle corporate filings with registered agents, secretaries of state, and IRS
- Closing Documentation:Organize closing binders and transaction documents
- Legal Research: Research client inquiries and provide solutions
Process & Technology Adoption and Advancement
- NewTech: Evaluate and recommend new legal technology tools and software
- SOPs: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
- Support Training: Manage technology training for team members on new systems and tools
- Improve Operations: Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline workflows
- DocumentManagement: Maintain and organize document templates,folder systems, and knowledge bases
Attorney & Operational Support
- Project coordination:Manage timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple matters
- Meetingsupport: Prepareagendas, take notes, track action items, and follow up on commitments
- Teamcommunication:Facilitate information flow, update tracking systems, and ensure alignment
- Quality control: Review work product, catch errors, and ensure consistency across all deliverables
Skills & Tools
Required Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems

Preferred Experience:
- Legal technology platforms (Clio, DocuSign, Carta, or similar)
- Cloud-based collaboration tools (Dropbox, Slack, Google Workspace)
- Process documentation and SOP creation

- Corporate law or business operations exposure
Position Details
- Title: Corporate Operations Specialist
- Hours: Part-time,approximately 10-15 billable hours per week and 5-10 administrative support(with room to grow)
- Pay: Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and impact
- Location: Fully remote. Boston area preferred for occasional in-person collaboration, but open to other locations
- Work Style:Flexible hours, regular video calls with clients and for training and collaboration
- Team: Work directly with attorneys and support staff in a collaborative, supportive environment
