Frontend Software Engineer
About the Company
Our client is a growing software company building an AI-native data management platform that helps large organizations create unified, accurate records across complex data environments. Its technology helps customers discover, enrich, and maintain trusted data profiles that support better decision-making and operational efficiency.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to build and evolve the user-facing surfaces of its data products. You'll work in React and TypeScript on workflows and agentic user experiences that let enterprise users configure data products, map and curate schemas, review matches, and explore relationships across millions of records. You'll partner closely with backend engineers and product to turn a complex data platform into an experience users trust. You may occasionally venture into the backend services and APIs that power these experiences.
About the Team
You'll join the company’s core engineering team in Cambridge, MA. The team is a close-knit group of professionals who are always willing to teach and eager to learn. They’ve created a collaborative, supportive, and fun culture while doing serious work.
With a small team, every member needs to contribute meaningfully and have a significant impact on the business. When you join, the team will work with you to find a project you're excited to finish and one they’re excited to have.
You'll join a sub-team of 3 or 4 people.
What to Expect
- You'll have a manager who will mentor you in your professional development
- You'll have a tech lead who will support you with scheduling, architecture, and coding
- You'll design, break down, and own stories for every sprint
- Your code will be held to the same standard expected of every engineer
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain user-facing features in React and TypeScript across the company’s data-product UIs and occasionally contribute to Java controllers that power these experiences
- Help design and build new agentic driven user experiences
- Integrate the frontend with backend services over gRPC/REST APIs, handling async data flows and large result sets
- Write and maintain tests with Vitest and React Testing Library
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions
- Collaborate with backend engineers and design to ship features end to end
